Shaping What Lingers Beneath the Surface

My Art
Journey
My work begins with the body; not as an image, but as a condition and a bearer of identity.
Rooted in an exploration across different materials, my practice has arrived at clay as its central language, where I trace what persists under pressure, between presence and absence, coherence and fracture. In clay, weight, resistance, and fragility converge. What appears broken is not fixed, but held in a state of becoming—where tension, silence, and resilience remain unresolved.

My Inspiration
Between the observation of the body and its behaviors, the rhythms in nature, and the space between where I grew up and where I live, (Iran and Canada), my sources of inspiration take shape.
Persian visual language and inherited cultural references persist, reconfigured through a western context.
