Huma

Inspired by the column capitals of Persepolis, where the mythical Huma bird symbolizes prosperity and happiness, this contemporary figure carries an ancient symbol into the present. The wounds across the body speak quietly of pain, loss, and the scars left by oppression, while also becoming marks of resilience and endurance. The contrast between the wounded body and the enduring symbol of happiness reflects the persistence of hope and identity across generations, connecting Iran’s ancient heritage with the strength to endure and continue.
